Position Summary
The Videographer/e\Editor will film and edit engaging content for a variety of platforms that include videos linked to emails, live events, websites, blogs, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TV commercials. In this collaborative environment, you’ll work with the Director of Programs, VP of Marketing, senior leadership and faculty to execute strategic campaigns intended to meet and exceed company goals and objectives. A successful candidate is a strong storyteller who can capture the authenticity of documentary-style filmmaking and manage scripted shoots, while driving viewers to take action.
You will film and edit a wide variety of content including but not limited to:
• Marketing webinars
• LiveCasts
• Ads
• Program content videos
• Testimonials
• Trailers
• YouTube Videos
• TV commercials and more.
You also have the ability to edit for a variety of channels at a variety of lengths and understand the importance of music and voice-over in order to improve performance. Most importantly, our Videographer must be able to produce and edit remotely and create amazing videos and trailers.

Principle Accountabilities & Deliverables
■ Create and produce high-quality content that includes video, motion graphics and images, animation, testimonials and trailers to market to clients.
○ Operate video cameras such as the Canon DSLR series, C100, C300 cameras on location or in a studio setting.
○ Edit video content using Final Cut X and utilize sub-software systems such as Photoshop, Motion, After Effects for video graphic design.
■ Work with the Director of Programs and VP of Marketing to plan, develop, and execute the shooting and production of exceptional content for LSTW
■ Manage camera operation, lighting, and sound, as well as all talent direction both on location and on site
■ Assist in the strategic development of create initiatives involving video production, motion graphics, and animation
■ Edit video for a variety of lengths and a variety of platforms (including mixing sound)
■ Scout locations for shoots
■ Manage digital footage archive
■ Work with existing footage and assets to repurpose for further use
■ Propose concepts for video ideas for Marketing
■ Advise on the purchase of equipment, hardware, and software
■ Compose video standards SOPs for contractors
■ Maintain consistency of the brand and adhere to brand standards with all content
■ Maintain equipment
■ Stay up to date on the latest trends in video production and storytelling.
■ Coordinate field productions, including audio, camera, lighting, and working collaboratively with talent.
■ Act as liaison between production team and programs/event/marketing team at live events.
■ Record footage, testimonials and key elements at live events as needed
■ Potential to evolve to Director of Media position with the opportunity to hire and manage your own team and budget.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education / Experience
■ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
■ Minimum 2-3 years of experience in video production and editing (preferably at an advertising agency) preferred.
■ Experienced videographer with a proven track record of producing video that performs at a high level
■ Must submit a 5-minute trailer film reel which includes all work filmed, edited and produced. *The reel must be NO LONGER than 5 minutes. This is footage that you have filmed yourself, not repurposed footage from another videographer. Reel must include graphics you have created.

Abilities
■ Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20. Occasionally, up to 50 pounds

■ Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
■ Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
■ Must be Mac/iOs Proficient

Work Environment
■ Home office (tele-commute) with event and shoot travel
■ Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment. However, occasional on location work or outdoor work is required.
■ Regular business hours 8:30am – 5:30pm (when not filming); minimum 40 hours per week
■ Periodic travel required – 3-5 week-long trips and 10-12 local filming days
■ Normal physical activity including movement, hearing, seeing and communication.

Conditions of Employment:
■ Possession of a valid California driver’s license is a requirement for this job.
■ Must reside in Southern California preferably in Orange County, near Coto de Caza, Laguna Niguel, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Irvine San Clemente or surrounding cities. Farther locations in Southern California will be considered as long as you have reliable and consistent transportation to take you to Orange County frequently.
