We are looking for a Mid-Level Accountant to maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing and posting journal entries
Reconciliation of multiple entities and balance sheet accounts
Reconciliation of all bank, cash, and credit card transactions & statements
Full Financial Statement preparation
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Contributes to ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
PCI Compliance for all merchant processing accounts
Administrative duties as needed. (i.e., front desk coverage, office management, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-5 year of experience in full-cycle accounting & full charge bookkeeping
TSYS experienced and/or merchant service industry is a definite PLUS
Proven expertise in QuickBooks and Excel are a must
Strong computer and data entry skills
Well organized, analytical, able to multi-task projects and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing ·
Dependable, driven, willing, and able to learn
Extreme attention to detail and follow through is vital.
Work independently and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience with multiple sets of accounting records for multiple entities is a preferred
