Description

Anaheim based Landscape Construction company is looking for a detailed oriented Accounts Payable Clerk. Looking for a team member that is eager to take on responsibility, is self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
Enter invoices into accounting system accurately with three-way matching: vendor invoices to PO’s to receiving docs with a detailed audit of invoices for price, quantity, cost center and profit center coding.
Vendor set-up, maintenance, statement reconciliation
Prepare weekly payment disbursements per project and prepared keep track of site furnishing or special vendor terms
Responds to payment inquiries by vendors in a timely manner utilizing customer focused techniques and clear communication.
Track monthly invoices. View and analyze
Monthly internal reconciliations (credit card, etc.)

Familiar with Amortization schedules
Cost coding
Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end
Accounts Payable aging reports to ensure invoices are paid timely.
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy
Assist with other office projects as needed directly with the office manager and work closely with other departments to ensure AP needs are met.

Qualifications
1-3 years of prior accounts payable experience is required. Construction experience preferred.
Proficient in Excel and Word, FOUNDATION Construction software experience HIGHLY preferred but not required.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data.
Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, professional attitude and reliable
Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to interact with internal and external customers, employees and vendors in a professional manner.
Willing to cross train and have a strong work ethic.
