JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining company financial records, updating and preparing reports; and reconciling bank statements using Quick Books (“QB”) accounting software program to process business transactions, accounts payables and receivables, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enter E-Commerce orders (Shopify/Ebay/Walmart) and post related payments into QB
• Enter Amazon orders onto Excel spreadsheet and post related payments into QB
• Receive, verify and enter all distributor orders via email and EDI (True Commerce -Order Fulfillment Software)
• Email UPS delivery orders to Shipping Dept.
• Create BOL for LTL shipments using DLS website (Mercury Gate)
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Prepare and conduct bank deposits using a remote deposit scanner
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents, financial records and statements
• Reconcile bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis as required
• Enter all payable invoices from UPS website into designated expense account
• Create journal entries for products shipped to the Amazon Fulfillment Center and internal movement between locations.
• Create journal entries for inventory adjustments
• Create Purchase Orders
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel
• Research, track and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
• Other duties as assigned by President, Executives and CEO

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
o Familiarity with accounting principles, bookkeeping processes and procedures
o Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accts Receivables/Payables Clerk.
o Proven competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
o Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
o Associate Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
1-Year minimum accounting and bookkeeping experience

SALARY:
