TEK Salon + Spa is home to a team of highly educated, experienced & gifted hair stylists. Our talent includes a melting pot of editorial hair and makeup artists, world-class cutting team educators, and award-winning colorists. Our creative archiTEKs (hairdressers) are capable of achieving any look clients desire.

We are looking for a RENTAL ONLY (independent contractor/licensed cosmetologist) hairstylist and/or barber with an established clientele to join our team @ TEK hair salon.

Responsibilities:
-Delivers exceptional guest service & technical expertise
-Analyzes hair condition; shampooing and treating hair accordingly
-Promotes/retails haircare products and tools
-Plans desired effect by studying facial features; examining potential styles; conferring with customer; making customer recommendations
-Produces desired effect by cutting/shaping, styling/setting, bleaching, coloring, highlighting/balayage, and tinting hair
-Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.
– Obtains revenue by recording or collecting charges
-Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
-Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications:
-REQUIRED: Valid Cosmetology License in CA
-MUST HAVE A CLIENTELE BASE
-3 years experience
-Must have a commitment to provide an excellent client experience
-A smile and great attitude!
-Outgoing and love to interact with clients
-A professional appearance
-Flexibility in days/hours worked including evenings and weekends
-Full-time/Part-time experienced hair stylist (hairdresser)
-Multiple certifications are a PLUS

PRIVATE SUITES also available. Perfect for Estheticians, Massage Therapists, Waxing/Sugaring Specialists, Eyelash Extension Artists, Microbladers, and more. Suites are aproximately 100 sq. ft with sinks and running hot/cold water in each suite.
