Description

Consulting firm is looking for a staff accountant/analyst to help service client accounting and business intelligence needs. Our firm specializes in cross platform integrations, business intelligence models and financial statement compilations.

Some travel is required. Candidate will need to travel to client’s offices. However, work will also be done from our Huntington Beach office. Client locations are in Commerce, Irvine and Newport Beach.

Software Skills Required:
Power Query
Power Pivot
Excel
SharePoint

Accounting Skills Required:
Prepaid schedules
Accruals
Loan amortizations
Fixed assets and depreciation
Bank reconciliations
Journal Entries

Education:
Active student pursuing a business degree
Some accounting courses completed (preferably intermediate accounting)

Compensation (contractor 1099, 15 – 30 hours per week):
$20-$30 depending on experience

This position is more suitable for a student wishing to gain more experience and learn new skills. This can turn into a full time position within 3 to 6 months.
